Fast Search and Transfer from Microsoft provides real time search and filter technology. By incorporating Basis Technology's Rosette Base Linguistics for Chinese, Japanese and Korean, Fast is taking full advantage of the upcoming Asian market for search and retrieval. This technology has allowed Fast to offer the most accurate Asian language text handling available.

Google is the world's largest search engine provider. The company's technology allows users to access an index of web pages comprised of 3 billion URLs. Google also allows users to search for content in 35 non-English languages.
Google relies on Basis Technology's Rosette Language Analyzers for Chinese, Japanese and Korean in order to power searches for Internet users in Asia. This technology has enabled Google to provide the most advanced linguistic capabilities in its search engine.

With the help of Basis Technology's Chinese Script Converter, Google is also bridging the gap between Simplified and Traditional Chinese languages. This technology accurately converts between the two written forms of the language in real time.

NCB Capital is the largest capital holdings bank in the Arab world. Basis Technology's Rosette Name Translator was integrated into NCB Capital’s financial compliance process for matching Arabic names against the Watch Lists published in English. This enabled NCB Capital to automatically translate names from Arabic into English with high accuracy to reduce the number of false positives when matching against watch lists.
“We’re really impressed with the Rosette Name Translator’s capabilities and how it has improved our OFAC name checking process,” said Peter Wilkinson, VP of Application Development at NCB Capital. “It translated 330,000 Arabic names into Roman script very quickly, consistently, and accurately.”
The Rosette Name Translator is a fully-automatic translation engine for names of people, places, and organizations. It offered NCB Capital a practical and cost-effective way to comply with regulatory standards for the millions of names in their customer databases.
IPRO Tech designs scalable, easy-to-manage software for litigation support. They integrated the Rosette Linguistics Platform (RLP) into their e-discovery and document review product lines including e-Capture, e-Review, and IPRO Eclipse.
IPRO utilizes RLP for language identification, Unicode enablement, and text analysis of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and Persian. This powerful combination enables IPRO Eclipse to search and review thousands of documents across multiple languages.

EMC’s Documentum Content Sever OEM Edition is an open, extensible information infrastructure platform for managing information within the applications one develops, distributes, or hosts. EMC adopted Apache Lucene for managing search and indexing within its content server. Lucene is a high performance open source search toolkit which has been a popular search solution with over 3,000 installations including IBM, CNET, and Wikipedia.
In addition to adding search and indexing capability using Lucene, EMC also needed to be able to search across all languages. To enable this capability they integrated Rosette for Lucene by Basis Technology, a module that connects to Lucene out of the box. Rosette for Lucene provides robust and accurate multilingual search which is the same technology used by industry-leading search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, FAST, and Endeca. This combination is an indispensable and low-cost search solution for enterprises of any size.
Convera's RetrievalWare solutions allow users to search across more than 200 forms of text, video, image and audio information, in more than 45 languages.
Convera is enhancing its current offering by incorporating Basis Technology's line of Rosette® Language Analyzers, including the Rosette Arabic Language Analyzer (ARLA), into its RetrievalWare knowledge discovery platform. The combination of the two technologies enables highly accurate search results among documents, even those written in the complex Arabic language. Designed to meet the needs of Convera's government customers, the integration provides a robust solution for searching and categorizing mission-critical information in a variety of languages.

Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 (formerly Microsoft® Business Solutions–Axapta) is a business management solution designed for midsize to large organizations. When Microsoft Dynamics AX wanted to support its global customers, they came to Basis Technology for an internationalization solution.
Microsoft Dynamics collaborated with Basis Technology to simultaneously support a wide variety of European and Asian languages, including German, Russian, Czech, and Simplified Chinese to support user interfaces in a wide variety of languages. Basis Technology implemented and Unicode enabled Microsoft Dynamics AX to handle multiple character sets in a single environment. The project included completely reengineering the software for Unicode and implementing the GB18030 character set required by China. In addition, Basis wrote a database upgrade tool which reads a Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 database and converts all the non-Unicode data to Unicode to work with Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0.

Endeca offers advanced search and Guided NavigationSM information delivery solutions for companies who need to integrate, discover, and navigate enterprise data to solve the business problems associated with information overload.
Endeca is incorporating Basis Technology's Rosette Language Analyzers into their software for commerce and enterprise search, Endeca InFront and Endeca ProFind. Each analyzer incorporates an in-depth knowledge base of the nuances of each specific language, enabling Endeca's applications to deliver reliable, accurate search results in any language.

As InQuira continues to expand its multinational customer base, it has teamed with Basis Technology to integrate its Rosette Language Analyzers into the InQuira 6.5 platform. Basis Technology's Rosette Language Analyzers offer high performance text analysis that enables reliable, accurate search results. InQuira customers will be able to more easily obtain answers to questions as well as find products and services in the language of their choice.
